Design Meets Academia
As a licensed architect (IARP), founder of the design studio MIMTwardowscy, academic lecturer, and Doctor of Arts – I am currently opening a new professional phase. Combining design practice with academic and educational experience, I am preparing both for my habilitation (postdoctoral) process and for applying to international academic positions.
My current focus includes:

My Academic Path
I am a licensed architect and Doctor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture (Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland). I combine my professional practice with academic teaching and research, engaging students in project-based learning and exploratory design.
I am currently preparing for a postdoctoral (habilitation) process focused on exploring nature-based design from a conceptual, sensory, and social perspective.
Thesis & Teaching
PhD Thesis Title
“The hotel room as the space most influencing the recognizability of the object” (Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, 2023)
The thesis explored the role of the hotel room in shaping the identity, perception, and coherence of hospitality buildings, with emphasis on form, function, and user experience.
Teaching and Student Projects
I run specialized courses in interior and public-use design, integrating theory with design-based research and sensorial analysis.
